Cloverleaf Corporation is proud to announce that is has acquired a rental inventory of the QWICK KURB system - a portable plastic traffic separator. Contractors now have the option of being able to rent the system, complete with delineators and reflectors, for their road building projects.
The system is rented at a daily rate per linear foot (plus shipping charges to/from the jobsite). This rate is based on the system being configured in accordance with FDOT Standard Design Index 620 and 600 which depicts the delineators being spaced in accordance with the speed limit. The most impressive feature of the QWICK KURB system is that it is capable of being deployed without anchoring to the roadway! Therefore, installation, removal and relocation is "qwick". And unlike slip-formed asphalt separator which can only be used once, the QWICK KURB system can be used again and again. Since the delineators and reflectors are built in, there is less maintenance required than glue-down delineators affixed to an asphalt separator.
We can also supply special anchors that will allow the system to be affixed to bascule bridges (draw bridges). Please inquire for more details.
Under some circumstances, it may be necessary to shift the QWICK KURB horizontally across travel lanes, or deploy it daily from the shoulder to the center of the roadway. We have available for rent a lane shifting conveyor that is capable of shifting the QWICK KURB up to 20' horizontally at speeds up to 4 MPH. QWICK KURB was approved by FDOT in 1995 and has been assigned QPL# 102-2500 (old number prior to January 2003 was WG511).
